The maintenance and failure solution of heavy duty apron feeder

As we all know, the apron feeder would always coordinate with other mining equipment (such as screw conveyor, long inclination belt conveyor, stacker reclaimer) to realize the materials handling process. Then sometimes the apron feeder would have something wrong in the operation.
Equipment failure
Torque transmission fitting surface of transmission main shaft and reducer hollow
shaft has relative rotation, resulting in abrasion of hollow shaft and shaft.
Causes analysis
1. After long time operating, the metal would have metal fatigue, transforming from elastic deformation to plastic deformation. Then there would be gap of the fitting surface between shaft and bearing cone, resulting in the abrasion.
2. In the course of operating, the lack of lubrication and cooling leads to the heating of bearing, the increasing the running resistance, and the bending deformation of bearing.
Traditional solution
repairing welding:difficult installation, low efficiency, long period, high cost, easy to result in heat stress focus of bearing
electrical brush-plating: large limitation in coating thickness, low efficiency and short service life over thickness of 0.3mm
hot spraying: difficult transporting, low efficiency, long period, high cost, easy to result in heat stress focus of bearing
Changing new assembly unit: high cost of assembly unit.
