How to promote the application performance of belt conveyor?

The pulley is regarded as the transmission mechanism of belt conveyor, also one of the conveyor components. It has many advantages and features, with bright prospect. Because of some limitations on power parameters and technical reason, the pulley of belt conveyor design has a series of problems, which limits the development of conveyor pulley. The drive pulley is the spare part of belt conveyor, which conveys power and torque. In the actual belt conveyor design, we should carry on the intensity check and force analysis to the pulley. As a result, during the design of drive pulley, we should fully consider the structure of transmission shaft, support, load and other factors, simplifying the structure and building suitable mechanical model. The bend pulley is used to change the operating direction of the conveyor belt. Besides, the bend pulley could compress the belt, increasing the rubber coating with drive pulley. The slipping between belt and drive pulley would result in the wearing of the conveyor belt. If serious, fire accident will occur. The add of bend pulley could prevent the slipping.
The pulley design of belt conveyor has technological difficulties, which limits the stable operation of belt conveyor. The optimization design for the conveyor pulley is imperative. During this process, we could take full advantage of present technology, analyzing the problems of belt conveyor to find the final reason. With the continuous development of the conveyor industry and technology innovation, EPC companies should strengthen the innovation and improvement of conveyor pulley design. At the same time, EPC companies should pay attention to other materials handling equipment's design such as stacker reclaimer, screw conveyor and pipe conveyor. The technology innovation is very important at present.
