How to successfully complete EPC project?

EPC project's main advantage is the integrative operation including designing, purchasing, and construction. We could not separate these three items. We should integrate them to get the good effect. This is very common for EPC companies including project of stacker reclaimer, belt conveyor, screw conveyor, apron feeder and etc. The purchasing work should guarantee the quality, quantity, time of the project. We should receive required equipment, materials and related service through the reasonable price and proper supplying sources. During the implementation process, the professional persons should carry out the purchasing process. Through the standard purchasing working routine, intelligent management on contract and information management, the purchaser should meet the working of purchasing management. At the same time, the following points should be met.
1. Purchasing in good time: This could influence the long period of whole project progress and key equipment. The purchaser should order the products as soon as possible. The purchasing work should be carried out according to the progress plan.
2. Purchasing in proper place: Considering the currency rate change could help purchaser confirm the supplier in some areas, realizing the purpose of reducing cost. If the large equipment is hard to transport, the purchaser could consider the installation on site.
3. Purchasing in good quality: The purchaser should choose reasonable product with good quality to increase the purchasing benefit during the assessment process of confirming the supplier.
4. Purchasing in proper quantity: The purchaser should reduce the quantity of purchasing contract, combining similar products in one contract. In this way, purchasing management becomes easy.
